This week's color at Project 64: Out of the Box is Indigo.
I bought this piece of pottery in North Carolina a few years ago. I was told it is an African Violet pot, but sadly, I'm not very good at growing plants. I tried growing a violet in this pot, but it died. I just like the pot with it's ruffled edges and it's deep indigo color. So I think I'll just leave it sitting on my table as is!

I would too; it's too beautiful to be hidden!
I love pottery! This is gorgeous and the fluted edges are totally lovely.
It is beautiful on it's own for sure. Thanks for joining us at P64.
Glad the pot has come in handy for something other that growing plants! Pleased to see I am not the only one who has trouble growing indoor plants. I think i kill them with kindness!
wow, what a beautiful piece of pottery!
I can't grow African violets either. But the pot is divine! I love all the various shades of blue in it. Perfect for the week.
A lovely pot indeed! I too have problems keeping indoor plants alive, I currently have one and have nearly killed him more times than I can count! He must love me, because he keeps coming back! Nice indigo find and thanks for linking up with p64!
What a great photo...a nice piece of pottery too! :)
