Tag, I'm It.

Laura at Felt Inspired tagged me. I am supposed to reveal 7 little know details about myself. Here goes:

1. When I was in college, I had a summer job in a resort/vacation area. I lived with a bunch of other college students in a big house. One summer, we drove around the county stealing signs and used them as lawn art in front of our big old run down dormitory-type house.

2. On the complete flip side of #1, I have never smoked a cigarette. Never even tried. Yuk.

3. Since it's Thanksgiving and all, I will confess, I really do not like turkey very much.

4. I hitch-hiked to Carnivales in Limon, Costa Rica with a friend. What's worse, when I asked the driver if he was going to Limon, he said "puede ser." ("Could be.") We foolishly got in anyway.

5. I have a schoolgirl crush on Rafa Nadal, the Spanish tennis player. Only my son Joey seems to remember/know this and he reminds me every time he sees his face in the news.

6. I knew what sex both my biological kids were going to be, but we told everyone we didn't know because we didn't have the test done.

7. As long as I'm going for full disclosure...I knew that my husband was going to propose to me Christmas of 1996 because I noticed that the ring my grandma gave me was gone from the jewelry on my dresser. Since I rarely loose anything (okay, I should say lost since that was pre kids), I knew he had to have taken it for sizing. This is the first time I have admitted this to anyone, anywhere. I'm curious to see if it gets back to him. I think after 10 years of marriage, it won't be such a let down at this point! (UPDATE: He found out now. I think he was a little bummed.)

Hmmm, that wasn't as bad as I thought....

Sorry, you're wrong. You told me the story about the ring. You showed me the little dish you kept the ring in on your dresser and explained that it had been missing, so you had an idea it was coming.

OK, now I know where to find stuff that is stolen from in front of the cottage.

You are very courageous to post the ring thing! :) I could never have kept the secret of the sex of my boys. How old are your boys? And your Lily?

I'm glad your Lily also had a good Thanksgiving. Don't you just love to see those big jumps in their adjustment. Just when you think they're already doing great, they show you how well adjusted they are!

Also, I have a question for you - email me if you get a chance - rstafeil@mac.com
