94/365 Out of the Box - Spring Green

fizz 2

I figured lots of people would be taking photos of lovely little shoots popping up in their yards, or spring flowers or tender grass.... However, as a "northerner," I had to be a bit more creative (I have yet to see much "spring green" in my outdoor world!)

I don't let my kids have soda very often. But they LOVE this bright green Mexican brand called Jaritos. I carried a piece of paper colored in "spring green" in my purse for a few days and realized while at the grocery store that this lemon lime flavor of Jaritos was a perfect match!

Great match! I haven't tried these, but love that you still can get Coke in a glass bottle from Mexico, it just seems to taste so much better.

Great idea and the color match is great! I share your pain...I also live in the North and I'm dying to get outside and get some great outdoor shots. I'm hoping spring decides to make an appearance soon!!

I'd say that's a pretty good match.

I also had to do an inside shoot last week. I figure I might have more luck finding burnt sienna outdoors right now than I did spring green.

Great match with Spring Green! At first I thought it was Midori! :o)

I've never heard of this type of soda, but am not surprised it's *Mexican* since bright colors are common with this culture. Very creative find.

I'd settle for any colour of green here too!

But this photo is so neat! You are amazing at thinking outside the box for these projects!
